Julie DeRice was raised in coastal Maine and was inspired by the unimaginable beauty of everyday life; she paints beach scenes, wildlife, pets, and calming landscapes to soothe the soul. She creates fine art, decorative coastal art, and fabric art on the beaches of Sarasota. DeRice has taught art and exhibited her work in homes and furniture stores throughout the southern united states. DeRice arts are ideal for highlighting a home with a relaxed atmosphere, personality, and charm. She and her husband of over 40 years were blessed with a daughter named Felicia and son in law named Michael with two beautiful granddaughters Madison and aspiring artist Avery.
