Angela Maritz is a full-time artist residing in the Bay of Plenty, North Island, New Zealand. She specializes in large-scale, expressive, and unique colored oil paintings. Angela's broad genre of work includes landscapes, wildlife, abstract floral studies, and portrait paintings. Many of her paintings were inspired by the thoughts of North Island's wild open spaces, big skies, and lots of colors and cultural diversity play. Angela loads her brush and fills the gaps on walls with not just her chosen medium, acrylic, but also her emotions, as she believes art enlivens our soul. Angela is a South African born but moved to New Zealand in 2007.
