Though he grew up in Haiti, his parent's home country, he was well known for his pencil work. Andy's passion for art started at the age of seven and was inspired by his colorful environment, social imbalance, and abject poverty. Losing his parent at the age of twelve took a huge toll on him, forcing him to relocate to America to live with his older sister. He was acknowledged in high school by his teachers and classmates for his brilliant artwork.
