After becoming freelance, he branched out to producing designs for homeware, t-shirts, and books. He has work selected for Threadless, Junique, Hot Topic, and Disney, among many others. He produces quirky, fun designs emphasizing humor, and although his work is mainly digital, he likes to display a loose, hand-drawn feel. Michael loves to create characters as he loves to draw monsters, cats, or monster cats.
